Lucy Burkhardt

Lucy Laura Burkhardt, 96, a Prescott resident since 1907, died 
Sunday, April 13, 1997, in Tucson.  She was born March 2, 1901 to 
Lucy (Garrett) and Wilson Brown in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Mrs. Burkhardt was active in the Eastern Star, the Salvation Army 
Home League, and the Prescott Free Methodist Church before becoming 
ill.

Survivors include her sons, George, Joseph and Paul, all of Los 
Angeles, Calif.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Prescott Free 
Methodist Church, 2797 Willow Creek Road, in Prescott.  Pastor 
Robert Vaughn will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. 
prior to the service.

Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Prescott.

Memory Chapel Mortuary will assist the family with arrangements.
