Joseph C. Burleson

Joseph Clingman Burleson, 58, died at his home in Mayer, Wednesday,
Nov. 1. He was born in Stoddard, Ariz., Jan. 26, 1920 and attended
school in Mayer.

An Army veteran of World War II, he belonged to the American Legion
and was active in veteran's affairs.

Mr. Burleson had been a miner and heavy equipment operator in
various parts of Arizona.

He is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Elva B. Grover of Boise, Idaho
and Mrs. Betty Green of Medford, Ore., two sisters, Mrs. Bea Gill of
Flagstaff and Mrs. Ina Rubi, of California, a brother, Robert, of
Australia; and six grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Burleson were held Saturday morning at the LDS
Church in Dewey, with interment in the Mayer cemetery.

The Ruffner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
