| Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, December 15, 1909, page 2, column 6 Died At Chaparral Mrs. Mueller Passes Away at That Place Following a Brief Illness (From Thursday's Daily) Yesterday the sad news reached the city that Mrs. Mueller, an estimable lady resideng at the Chaparral section, passed away there following a brief illness. Her husband and his sister were with her when the end came. Mr. and Mrs. Mueller were married about a year ago in Belgium, and their honeymoon was spent crossing the Atlantic and a trip through the country en route to this county. She was a young woman who won the friendship of all in that section immediately upon her arrival in the new home. Mr. Mueller, for three years had been an industrius miner of that district, and enjoys a wide acquaintanceship. He is highly connected in his native land, his father being a man of wealth and prominence in Belgium. The body will be brought to this city for interment. Several residene of that section will accompany the remains. The funeral will take place from the parlors of the H. M. (From Friday's Daily) Mrs. Mueller's Funeral Funeral services for Mrs. Leo Mueller, the young woman who passed away at Chaparral on Wednesday, will be held in this city today from the Maus parlors. Interment will be made in the Citizen's cemetery. Later the body will be taken to her former home in Belgium. ---------------------------------------------------------- Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, December 15, 1909, page 2, columns 5 & 6 Laid To Rest The funeral of the late Mrs. Leo Mueller took place yesterday from the Catholic Church under the direction of H. M. Maus & Co., funeral directors. Many acquaintances of the family attended the last sad rites. Mr. Mueller and his sister, Julia Mueller will return to Chaparral this morning where the little boy, who was born about 10 days ago, is with friends. The afflicted husband is the recipient of the tender sympathy of all in his sad bereavement. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Mueller is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
