Lois M. Hunt, age 91, of New Prague, Minn., died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center. Lois was born on March 24, 1926, in South Milwaukee, Wis., to Linus and Ellen (Stone) Carlson. She graduated from South Milwaukee High School and married her husband, Ronald B. Hunt there on Dec. 2, 1950. The couple then moved to St. Francis, Wis., to raise their family of four. Lois worked for 38 years stocking and checking out customers for Ola's Grocery Store. Following retirement, she and Ron moved to Arizona for 25 years before finally settling in New Prague, Minn. Lois loved her backyard; for her, it was "her resort". She quickly settled into Queen's Court when they moved to New Prague, enjoying her coffee clutch with the other residents. Her greatest joy resided in time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her children, Brain (sic) Hunt of Lavall, Wis., Joleen (George) Kohler of Nekoosa, Wis., Kim Hunt of New Prague, Kris (Julie) Hunt of New Prague; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elaine, Edwin, Alverna, Dwane "Zeke", Fae, Ronnie and one infant.

A celebration of life open house will be held Friday, Nov. 10, from 2:30-6 p.m. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Hall. Burial will occur at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery in Oak Creek, Wis.
