MERICLE, Doris

Doris "Nanna" L. Mericle, 75, passed away May 23, 2002. She was born Sept. 22, 1926, and was an honest and outspoken woman with a large heart. She was always there when you needed a friend to talk to and she had an amazing love for animals and all other living things. Her passing is a great loss for all whose lives she touched. She is survived by her sister, Muriel (Vito) Mauriello; children, Richard (Francine) Mericle, Bonita (Bill) Hole, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A viewing was held at the Abbey Chapel Funeral Home in Tucson on May 25. Funeral services were at Smith and Taylor Funeral Home in Douer, New Jersey followed at Millbrook Cemetery in Randolph, NJ where she was laid to rest next to her husband, Sgt. John Mericle, Jr., of the Douer Police Department. June 4, 2002.
