Herbert T. Hindriksen, 85, born Sept. 23, 1932, in Gildehauf,
Germany,
died Dec. 11, 2017, in Prescott, Arizona.

Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC of Prescott Valley, handled all
arrangements.

Herbert T. “Mike” Hindriksen left this world peacefully surrounded
by loved ones on Dec. 11, 2017. Known to friends as Mike Hindriksen,
he was a resident of Prescott, Arizona, for 12 years.

He was born in Germany and became a citizen of the U.S. in the late
‘60s and loved this country. He played professional hockey in his
younger years in Canada. He worked 20 years for Edison and retired
from there.

Mike is survived by his wife of 30 years, Claudia Hindriksen; son,
Keith; daughter, Christina; 3 step-daughters (known as his
daughters), Buffy, Lora and Cheyenne; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Curtis,
Ciara, Karleigh, Daslan and Casey; one great-grandchild, Corbin; his
family in Germany, three brothers and one sister.

Mike will be remembered forever. A celebration and thank-you to his
life will be held Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Elks
Lodge, 6245 E. 2nd St., Prescott Valley.
