| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, December 15, 2017, page 5a Darin Blane Sligo born Sept. 5, 1986, in Santa Ana, California, passed away Dec. 9, 2017, at home in Humboldt, Arizona. Darin was born to Jeffrey Blair and Rosemarie Sligo. Darin was the third son. He came to Arizona at age 14 with his mother and two brothers. Many who knew Darin knew of his great love and beautiful smile. He was and is the most incredible human being one could ever meet. Darin is preceded in death by his father, Jeff and his sister, Quinlyn Marcell Sligo. He is survived by his mother, Rose Eitemiller; step-dad, Brian Eitemiller; his brothers, Jason Sligo, Brett Sligo and Landon Eitemiller; his sister, Helene Dueringer; his nieces, Athena and Chyanne; his maternal grandparents, Len and Lydia; paternal grandmother, Pat; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Darin’s presence will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him. Darin was gracious enough to donate his body to Research for Life. Darin suffered from polycystic kidney disease, cardiomyopathy and an unknown gastric illness. He wanted a way to help out others by finding out what ailed him. A gathering in his honor will be held at his family home on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. Information provided by survivors. |
