Daryl passed away on Dec. 5, 2017. He was born on Nov. 6, 1950, in
Long Beach, California, to Warren Milo and Sona Grace Davis.
He graduated from Rosemead High School in Rosemead, California, in
1968. In 1977, he met the love of his life, Raven, at the North
Woods Inn Restaurant in Belmont Shore, California, where he hired
her as a cocktail waitress.
They married four years later in 1982. Daryl truly lived life to the
fullest through simple pleasures like watching the sunset off the
back of his boat.
He loved the outdoors, Jeep adventures, and being out on the water.
He had the uncanny ability to be the life of the party, the guy
everyone wanted to be around. He enjoyed people, and never met a
stranger. After a long career in the restaurant business, he and his
wife, Raven, proudly opened Leff-T’s Steakhouse in Dewey, Arizona.
He was a proud member and supporter of his community. Daryl’s
proudest achievements are his family.
He is survived by his wife, Raven; his brothers, Lucky and Happy;
his sister, Beth; his children, Michael, Tammy, Matt, Ana, and
Daniella; his grandchildren, Sadie Rae, Kala, Sarah, Sophia,
Dominic, Jasmine, Jeremy, Jace and Bela; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
He also leaves behind his beloved four-legged friends, Keeno and
Willie.
He will truly be missed and we are all better humans for having
known him.
“Not bad for a girl” was his favorite saying.
