AGUINAGA, Mary Alice

(Maiden Name: Chavez)

Mary Alice Aguinaga, 60, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness May 12, 2009, in Morenci at the home of Carmen and Ernie Dominguez.

Mary was born and raised in Bisbee on April 14, 1949, to Lupe and Bertha Chavez. Mary married Daniel Aguinaga, and together, they raised three daughters, Roxanne, Janette and Carmen. She was very active in the community, donating her time and talents where she could. 
  
Mary loved playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook.

Mary is survived by her husband, Daniel Aguinaga Sr.; daughters Roxanne (Adam) Seders, Janette (Dean) Bruck, both of Goodyear, Carmen (Ernie) Dominguez of Morenci; brothers, Joe (Patsy) Chavez and David (Lori) Chavez; sister Cathy (Jesus) Leyvas; grandchildren Matthew, Jared, Cierra, Destinie, Jessica and Stormie. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lupe and Bertha Chavez.

Memorial services were conducted Friday, May 15, at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
