WHITMIRE, Thelma Marie

Thelma Marie Whitmire, 84, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, in her home with her loved ones by her side. Thelma was born Feb. 13, 1925, in Tucson to Troy Charles and Mary Ellen Carroll. Later, she met her husband, Noel Whitmire and had three children. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds out of her kitchen window. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed being with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; sister, Mary Ann; and her grandson, Thad. She is survived by her husband, Noel; her daughter, Noelette Whitmire King; two sons, Tommy (Sharon) Whitmire and Jerry (Patty) Whitmire; grandchildren, Tommy (Tracy), Emery (Stacy), Dennis (Leslie), Sheri (Josh), Jerry (Andrea), Heather (Eric) and Cheryl (Casey); great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kailey, Preston, Kassidee, Michael, Mayson, Ashli, Jayci, Celica, Eric and Cameryn.
