MONTEZ, Ernesto D.

Mr. Ernesto Montez passed away May 5, 2009. He was born July 18, 1932, in San Jose. Ernesto was preceded in death by his mother, Clarita Dominguez, and father Francisco Montez.

He is survived by his brother, Ramon Montez Sr.; his sister, Beatrice Garza; wife Elizabeth Montez; children Ernesto Jr. (Theresa), Edward (Kathy), Eugene, Elaine Florence (Ridge), Eric, Benito, Chynna Caton (Jason), Daniel Duncan (Annette), Kimberly Figal, Christina Tharp (Eric), Christopher; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and Minnie Montez, mother of surviving children.  

Services for Mr. Montez were held at St. Rose of Lima Church on May 11.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation.
