Owner and operator, along with his wife and son, of Kurt's Fine Firearms, Harland Wetzel, 65, died August 2 in Lake Havasu City.

A former detective for the Chicago Police Department, he was still active in the Argus Investigation Service he founded in Albuquerque, NM.

He is survived by his wife Ruth and a son, Kurt. Services were held in New Mexico.
