| Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Lake Havasu City, AZ........ Alice Garcia, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on November 17, 2017. She was born on January 8, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to her parents Charles and Cecelia Eberle. She was 85 years of age. Alice attended and graduated from Dorothy High School in Los Angeles, California. It was in 1979, that she met her husband to be, Henry Garcia, at Lakeside Park in Monrovia, California. They dated for about 3 years then were united in marriage in Norwalk, California, on August 8, 1982. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Raymond Company for nineteen years. It was in 1991, that Alice and Henry decided to retire to Lake Havasu City, Arizona and make Lake Havasu City their permanent home. After retiring, Alice decided that volunteering was something that she loved to do, so she volunteered for seventeen years with the Lake Havasu City Police Department. Alice and Henry decided to take on the world together, literally, and traveled to many different countries, for example; Israel, Rome, France, England, Portugal, Spain, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and many more countries, including many different places in the United States as well. Alice was a devoted Catholic who, when traveling, loved to attend different churches from all over. Alice loved to go watch bands, stage shows, and enjoyed having her two glasses of wine at 12:00pm and 4:00pm. Her cat "Smudge was loved by Alice as well. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cecelia Eberle. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Henry Garcia, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sons, Robert, of Yuma, Arizona, Frank, of Oceanside, California, and Tony, of Florida; daughters, Sherry, of Austin, Texas, and Rita Garcia, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and even "Sniffy" her cat. Rosary will be at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Lake on Thursday, November 30, 2017 with services to follow at 11:00. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
