| Sonoran Skies Mortuary, Mesa, Arizona Ruth Marie Beck, 94, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away on May 24, 2015 in Scottsdale, AZ, she will be greatly missed. Her favorite hobbies included camping, quilting, sewing, craft making, and babysitting her grandchildren. Ruth was born in Freedom, PA on November 18, 1920, the daughter of Jenny Mae (Graham) and Ted Carothers. She met Charles Marvin Howe and married him in 1940. He preceded her in death as did her second husband, William Beck. Her survivors include 3 sons and one daughter: Robert Charles Howe of Scottsdale, AZ, Sheila Rae McCully of Cottonwood, AZ, James Clifford Howe of Glendale, AZ, and William Ross Howe of Phoenix, AZ. She is survived by a sister, Lorene Carothers of Prescott, AZ. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Ruth will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Sonoran Skies Mortuary, 5650 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205. A viewing will be from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 2:00PM. |
