| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, June 22, 1995, page 9a Lillie Fannie Carothers, 98, died Wednesday, June 21, 1995, at her home in Prescott. She was born Oct. 27, 1896, in Augusta, Georgia, to Andrew and Mary (Blackwell) Passmore. Mrs. Carothers moved to Prescott 60 years ago from Okemah, Okla. She and her husband, Ted, operated the Montezuma Court Motel on South Montezuma Street from 1943 to 1972. She is survived by her daughters, Lorene Carothers of Prescott, Mary Dell Keading of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Ruth Beck of Phoenix; sons, Oscar Johnson of Prescott, Richard Carothers of El Paso, Texas, and Robert Carothers, of Prescott; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from noon until service time at 1 p.m., Friday, June 23, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1455 Willow Creek Road in Prescott. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 23, at the First Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the family plot in the IOOF Cemetery in Prescott.
