| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 <<< >>> Nov. 2, 1965 – Dec. 29, 2017 <<< It is with great sadness that John William Murray, 52, finally lost his battle with diabetes. He fought a 50-year battle with this horrible disease and fooled death many times. John was born in Corona, California and moved to Lake Havasu City in 1979 when his parents retired. John was a great guy who loved his family and could always make them laugh. He was a loyal friend. He loved to ride dirt bikes, motocross and pulling crazy stunts. He was fearless! He also enjoyed volunteering at the local motocross races. John had dogs most of his life and they were, at times, his best friends and loyal companions. He never complained and lived his life his way. He will be missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his sister, Cindy Murray-Desmaretz (Don); brother Larry Murray (Sharron); nephew Troy Gilbert; niece Shauna Ballance (Tray), niece Jeani Loe (Dennis); niece Jacquie Early (Jason); nephew Michael Murray. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John’s name to the American Diabetes Association. Memorial services are pending. |
