It is with deep sadness that the family of Bettie Garcia announces her
passing on Dec. 26, 2017 at age 88.
She will be forever remembered by her husband of 69 years, Dan Garcia,
her daughters, Dana and Kelli, her grandsons, Danny and Connor, and
her granddaughters, Cameron, Janessa, and Jessica and her brother,
Troy.
Bettie moved from Murray, Kentucky to California when she was seven
years old. She went to several different schools.
Instead of regretting all those moves, she felt blessed to have been
able to make so many friends. Everyone that knew her loved her. She
moved to Whittier in the 1970s. In 2001, she moved to Lake Havasu
City.
Bettie loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending as
much time with them as possible. She also enjoyed gambling and loved
the slots in Laughlin. She was the original one-armed bandit.
A celebration of Bettie’s life is 1 p.m. Jan. 6 at Lake Havasu
Mortuary and Crematory,2225 N. Kiowa Blvd.
Her burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside,
California on January 26th 2018 at 2:15 p.m.

Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
