Kristopher Charles Setser, 26, was born July 14, 1989 in Glendale,
Calif. to William Gilbreath and Felyce Setser. He died Oct. 10, 2015
as a result of a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.

Kris was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beverly Setser.

Kris grew up in Apple Valley, Calif. He moved to Los Angeles when he
was about 16, and came to Lake Havasu City to be with his family in
2009.

Kris is one of the most amazing loving people to be around. He would
do anything to help whenever someone was in need, whether that be
physically or emotionally. He was always there. He could make the
saddest person smile in their darkest time. Anyone that truly knows
Kris appreciated his goofy, outgoing personality.

Kris loved his family. His dad is his hero, his mom is his heart. His
family meant everything to him. Kris was an amazing big brother who
always stood by his brothers and sisters no matter what. Kris believed
in family. He absolutely adored and loved his daughter Dakota more
than anything in this world.

Kris has always been amazing with kids; it might be because he’s a big
kid himself. He loved being with his nieces and nephews; Lilly, Dylan,
Asia, Ukiah, Adalynn, Bailey and Adalyn. Kris is a beloved son,
brother, nephew, and friend. There are so many people who will always
have amazing memories to hold dear to their hearts. Kris will never be
forgotten.

Kris is survived by his daughter Dakota Rose Renay Setser-McDonald;
his parents Felyce Setser and William Gilbreath; his siblings James
Gilbreath, Keith Gilbreath, Ashley Gilbreath, Angel Byrne and Samantha
Gilbreath; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and second family with Lora
Coleman.

A small get-together took place at State Beach to celebrate Kris.

Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory,
veteran & family-owned.
