| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Monday, September 28, 2015 <<< Joseph Mannie Hogan passed away, Sept. 18, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, at 92 years of age. He was born, July 21, 1923 to Mannie and Theresa Hogan in Ft. Myers, Fla. Joe started out as a machinist and eventually started his own business as a mold maker which was successful for almost 40 years. His business is what brought his lovely wife, Adele Rose Shepherd into his life. They were wed in Las Vegas, Dec. 20, 1975; they were happily married for 39 years. Joe liked golfing and woodworking. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and has traveled to all 50 states. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and fought in the Pacific, having survived two ships going down. Joe is survived by his wife, Adele Hogan of Lake Havasu City; sons, James Hogan of Sequoia National Park, Calif. and Paul Hogan of Porterville, Calif.; two stepchildren, Allan and Judy Taylor; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mannie and Teresa Hogan; sons, Michael and Charles Hogan and his sisters, Ethel, Hazel and Bette.
