| Prescott Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, May 14, 1916, page 8, column 5 Mike Chiantaretti Is Dead At Deming Word was received by telegram yesterday from Deming, N.M., of the death of Mike Chiantaretti. No particulars were given. Mr. Chiantaretti's son, Joe, was requested to proceed to that place by his mother who state3d the body would be brought to Prescott for burial. The deceased removed from this city about one year ago to engage in the hotel business. He was a sufferer from rheumatism in a mild form, and it is presumed his heart became affected and death resulted. Mr. Chiantaretti was popular, and a good citizen. He had resided in this section for nearly 20 years, accumulating considerable property. He was a naturalized citizen, aged 46 years, and leaves a widow and four children, to sons and two daughters. ---------------------------------------- Prescott Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 18, 1916, page 6, column 1 Chiantaretti Funeral The remains of Mike Chiantaretti, who passed away at Deming, N.M., were brought to Prescott on Tuesday night, the funeral taking place yesterday afternoon from Ruffner's.
