Man Found Dead In Local Hotel
Ernest Chiantaretto, aged 48, was found dead in local hotel room
yesterday afternoon. Death was apparently due to a heart condition,
ex-official coroner George W. Fryer reported.
The body was found at 3 p.m. by a maid. According to an
undertaker's estimation, Chiantaretto had been dead about 15 hours,
Fryer declared.
Chiantaretto had been in ill health for a long time, Fryer declared.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Ruffner's Mortuary.
Among other relatives, the man is survived by Joe Chiantaretto, a
brother, of Prescott; three sisters: Mrs. Theresa Brownfield,
Deming, NM.; Mrs. Emma Bostick, Los Angeles; Mrs. Adeline Chester,
Deming.

Chiantaretto Rites Scheduled Thursday
Funeral services for Ernest Chiantaretto, 48, who was found dead in
his hotel room Monday, will be held at the Sacred Heart church at 9
o'clock tomorrow morning. Interment will be in the family plot in
the Citizens cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock
tonight in the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home.
Chiantaretto, a native of Congress, had lived in Prescott the
greater part of his life.
He is survived by a brother, Joe, of Prescott, and three sisters.
