Joe Chiantaretto Claimed by Death

Joseph L. Chiantaretto, 57, died this morning at the Community
hospital after a short illness.

He was born March 27, 1892, in Rich Hill, Mo. He came to Prescott
with his parents when he was six years old and had lived here ever
since that time. He was employed at Seale's Service station.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; a son, Harry; and a daughter,
Mrs. Margaret Staranick, all of Pre3scott. Also surviving are three
sisters: Mrs. Emma Bostick, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Teresa Bromfield
and Adeline Chester, both of Deming, N.M. They expect to be here
for funeral services. A brother, Ernest, died here a few weeks ago.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home.

Joe Chiantaretto's Service Held Today

Funeral services for Joseph Chiantaretto, 57, who died May 13 were
held at the Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock this morning, followed
by interment in the family plot in the Citizens cemetery. Rosary
was recited at 7:30 o'clock last night at the Lester Ruffner Funeral
Home.

Pall bearers included: Rocco Viliborghi, Emil Federighi, Clem Rust,
E. C. Seale, Clarence Eckert, and Severo Braito.

Mr. Chiantaretto had lived in Prescott for more than 50 years. He
had been employed for some time by the Seale Service station.

In addition to his wife, Josephine, he is survived by a son, Harry,
and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Staranick, of Prescott, and three
sisters.
