| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, September 6, 2015 <<< Meredith Reuben “Pete” Peterson passed away peacefully at home, Aug. 26, 2015. He was born July 16, 1925 in New Windsor, Ill. to parents Reuben and Elenor Peterson. Pete proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1943-1945. He retired from being a financial manager at Litton Industries in 1990, and moved to Lake Havasu City. Pete was a member of the Elks, the American Legion and the Eagles. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 62-plus years, Barbara; daughters, Linda Peterson and Laurie Burgstahler (Wayne); granddaughter, Jessica Dodd (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Kaylynn and Everett; and sisters, Evelyn Steffen and Margaret Dusek. Per Pete’s request, no services will take place and burial will be private. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
