| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, January 7, 2018 <<< >>> Sept. 29, 1935 – Dec. 9, 2017 <<< Ronald E. (Butch) Roush, 82, passed away at home Dec. 9, 2017. He was born in Canton, Ohio to Mabel and John Roush. Butch served four years in the United States Air Force, then married Donna Darmstaedter in 1956 and moved to Ohio. He worked for 30 years at Diebolds in Canton, Ohio, then at Muskingum Watershed in Perrysville, Ohio before retiring and moving to Lake Havasu City in 2001. Butch was a 40-year member of the Masonic Lodge 60, a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner, and was the Monarch of the Nazir Grotto in Ohio. He loved boating, golf, and especially family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Roush; brother David and sister Carol. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Donna; two sons, David Scott (LaDonna), and Douglas Eugene (Michelle), both of Havasu; grandchildren, Jonah, Jordan, Alexandria, and Mariah; brother, John and Robert (Elizabeth) and sister Marian. A memorial service is Friday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Nautical Golf Course in Havasu. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu.
