Robert Eugene Kalanquin

Robert Eugene Kalanquin passed away at 86 years of age, Aug. 11, 2015
in Lake Havasu City. He was born to Frank and Mary Kalanquin, April
22, 1929 in Lapeer, Mich. He wed Dixie Sue Crabtree, Nov. 27, 1949 in
Flint, Mich.; they were married for 46 years.

Robert was employed at Fisher Body as an Accountant for 30 years in
Flint, Mich. and at USPS as an Assistant Post Master for 20 years in
Lake Havasu City. He enjoyed playing Bridge, Bingo, and gardening.

Robert is survived by his son, Thomas E. Kalanquin of Davison, Mich.;
daughter, Susan (Kish) Contla of Lake Havasu City; sister, Maxine
Keene of Lapeer, Mich.; grandson, Rory Kalanquin of Davison, Mich.;
granddaughter, Sarah Jo Lively of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Sue Kalanquin; parents,
Frank and Mary Kalanquin; Kalanquin brothers, Myron, Lawrence, Melvin,
Frank; and great-grandson, Michael Andres Lively.

Donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
