| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 <<< James Robertson Collis passed away at the Polidori House, July 25, 2015. He was born in Owoso, Mich., April 26, 1933. He moved to Lake Havasu City in 1974. He worked at McCulloch Chainsaw until he retired in 1984. He and his wife, Nancy and son, Rob moved to California. There he worked as a warehouse manager and also worked closely with the Anaheim Angels. He moved back to Lake Havasu City in 1999. Until 2011 he worked with the Today’s News-Herald. He is survived by his wife Nancy and daughters, Doreen Moschcau, Debbie Phillips and Diane Grupe and sons, Jim Collis and Robert Patni. Also eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerold Collis Almanzar. Jim had an incredible sense of humor. He loved sports, especially the Arizona Diamondbacks and the OSU Buckeyes. Donations can be made in James’ name to Hospice of Havasu. |
