| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, January 7, 2018, page 8a Mary Elizabeth Herman (nee Litzenberger) passed away Dec. 31, 2017, at the age of 99 years and 15 days. Mary was preceded in death by her own-true-love, Will Herman. She is survived by her three sons, Fritz of Raleigh, North Carolina; David (Lori) of Lebanon, Missouri; and Allen (Valerie) of Prescott Valley, Arizona; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary and Will retired to Prescott and after building their home themselves, settled into traveling and volunteer work. Mary was a volunteer at the Prescott Public Library for 25 years, being a retired librarian herself. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers and friends who supplied love and support for her: Patsy, Norma, Elaine, Elisa, Karen, granddaughter Hilary, Brianna, Sarah, Elena, the staff at Right At Home, New Horizons and Good Samaritan Hospice.
