Kathryn (Ka) A. Breckenridge passed away Sept. 15, 2017, peacefully.
She will be sorely missed by Darl; their children, Teri, Korlin,
Darla; and their 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ka loved wholeheartedly through thick and thin and her greatest love
was Darl … her husband and best friend. Married in June 1949 after
meeting on a blind date, they continually celebrated their love for
each other for an amazing 68 years. Ka and Darl were like two
saplings whose branches and trunks merged to become one beautifully
strong tree.

They moved to Prescott after living for years in Portland, and Salt
Lake City. The high mountain air and the cowboy yarns, spoke to
their shared dream of retirement (not to mention the year-round
golf).

Ka is remembered for her boisterous laugh, her curiosity of people
and place, her generosity and welcoming nature and her passion for
making yummy food and sharing it around the town. She was a
respected and creative speech therapist for more than 40 years.

Please join us for a memorial service of friends and family at 2
p.m. Jan. 12, 2018, at the American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott
Drive, Prescott, Arizona.
