| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, August 1, 2015 <<< Ruth Ellenor Branam, 78, passed away July 13, 2015 at Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City. She was born Sept. 30, 1936, in Blytheville, Ark., to Robert and Ruth Ashby. Raised mostly in California, Ruth married Jimmy R. Branam, Oct. 3, 1953. They had four children, Jim Allen (Robin) Branam, Kimberly Ann (Eddie) Fischer, Ruel Patrick (Daun) Branam and Robert Michael Branam. Ruth made Lake Havasu City her home, in 1990. She worked at Havasu Air Conditioning/All American Air Conditioning for 23 years, retiring in 2013. She considered many of her co-workers part of her family and she loved them just as much. She was a fun-loving and caring person and will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Ruth is survived by her sons, Jim, Pat and Mike; her daughter, Kimberly; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Rick (Diane) and sister, Roberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth; brothers, Bobby and Ron and her ex-husband, Jimmy. A celebration of Ruth’s life will be at a later date in Lake Havasu City with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Ruth’s name to Hospice of Havasu’s Polidori House. Services were placed in the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, Veteran and Family Owned. |
