Elena Ramirez Alfaro passed away in her home surrounded by her family on November 25th, 2015. She was 35 years old. Elena was born on July 21, 1980 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Elena is survived by her beautiful daughter Alexia and her husband Juan Alfaro, Terry Ramirez (mother), Gilberto Ramirez (father),Tess Brill (sister), James Brill (Brother In-Law), nieces Taylor and Lauryn Johnson, Celena, Lorenz and Sophia Ramirez, Laya Brill, Sophia Brill, Gil Ramirez (Brother), nephew Nolan Ray Ramirez Champion of the World and Lupe Anaya (Grandmother), countless uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She attended school at Coconino High School class of 1998 and when she moved to Connecticut in 2008 where her and Juan began to build a new life with Alexia, Elena attended Branford Hall Career Institute to become a Medical Assistant. From there she worked at Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery in Manchester, CT with Dr. Daniel Veltri.

Elena was a fun loving, beautiful, spunky, full of sass woman. She loved her family and would drown them in smooches whenever she got the opportunity to see them. She lived life to its fullness and lived it that way till she lost her battle with cancer.

Elena passed away peacefully in her home and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

A memorial is scheduled to be held in Flagstaff, Arizona on December 18th at Our Lady of Guadalupe 224 S Kendrick St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001, at 11am. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elena's life
