| Elida Ramirez Casa Grande Dispatch (AZ) - Wednesday, October 7, 2015 Elida Ramirez, 83, of Tolleson died on Sept. 29, 2015, at home. The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with Pastor Manuel Casillas officiating. Mrs. Ramirez was born on Jan. 31, 1932, in Paint Rock, Texas, and was a daughter of Refugio P. and Ascenscion Ruiz. She was a seamstress and a member of Cruz Del Calvario Assembly of God in Tolleson. She enjoyed sewing, singing and cooking and was a great cook who passed her secrets on to her family. They were her greatest joy. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Fidencio P.; two daughters, Sylvia Ramirez of Phoenix and Olga Aviles of Tolleson; two brothers, Daniel Ruiz of Eola, Texas, and Rufus Ruiz of Brady, Texas; six sisters, Angela Jimenez, Jesusa Ramirez and Ruth Vasquez, all of Kerrville, Texas, Viviana Castillo of San Angelo, Texas, Paula Arellano of Phoenix and Dora Garcia of Eola; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Juan Ruiz; a sister, Frances Lopez; and a son, Robert Ramirez. |
