Eastern Arizona Courier (Safford, AZ) - Wednesday, July 5, 2017 Martin Ramirez, known by many as "Marty," of Safford, entered into rest Friday morning, June 30, 2017, following a valiant fight with cancer. He was 48. A Mass of Christian burial for Marty will be conducted Monday, July 10, 2017, at 11 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Robert Rodriguez. A rosary for Marty will be prayed Monday, July 10, 2017, at 10 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Deacon Carl Vessels. Family will receive friends Monday morning, July 10, 2017, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., also at the church.
