ELOY - Leonard Sylvester Murrietta, 51, of Eloy died March 25, 2004 at RTA Hospice In-patient House in Casa Grande.

Visitation and service will be between 1 and 3 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with Dallas Lopez officiating. Burial will be in Pisinimo Cemetery on the Tohono O'odham Nation.

Mr. Murrietta was born April 12, 1952 in Picacho and was a son of Virginia and Andrew Murrietta. He was a farm laborer. He loved being with his friends and enjoyed music. He was a very giving person and gave up his opportunity for education to help support his family.

Survivors include five sisters, Emily Murrietta of Eloy, Lorraine Domingo of Casa Grande, Roselda Lopez of Eloy, Loretta and Lucy Murrietta of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, and a son, Anthony A. Murrietta.
