Carlos J. Carvajal Sr., 87, of Yuma, died June 17, 2002, at his home.

Born Aug. 8, 1914, in Sonora, Mexico, he was a retired car man for a railroad company.

A wake will be 5 to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday at Johnson Mortuary. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment following in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being handled by Johnson Mortuary.
