Funeral Notices Arizona Daily Star, The (Tucson, AZ) - Wednesday, January 28, 2009 left this world behind on January 23, 2009 to take place at the feet of his Lord and Savior. Dan spent 36 years as a teacher, coach, and superintendent in various public schools in Arizona, retiring after spending 12 years as superintendent of the Tombstone School District. He was especially proud of the fact that all his children and grandchildren have college or graduate degrees. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Kent; and two brothers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia of Tombstone; a daughter, Daneille, Glendale; four sons, Michael, Peoria, Alan, Tucson, Randy, Phoenix and Scott, California. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Hatfield Funeral Home from 400 p.m. to 700 p.m. Services will be held at 1000 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Village Meadows Baptist Church, Sierra Vista, AZ.
