| Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 17, 1895, page 3, column 7 (From Tuesday's Daily) A man named Collier, a member of the Grand Army, died at the residence of Joseph Ehle last evening, after a brief illness, with pneumonia, superinduced by la grippe. -------------------------------------- Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 17, 1895, page 3, column 8 Obituary John W. Collier, a recent arrival from Los Angeles, died at the Ehle House last evening at 7 o'clock. He was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic and will be buried by the local members of that body. Mr. Collier served with distinction in the recent unpleasantness in the 4th Iowa cavalry and made quite a record as a gallant cavalry soldier.
