| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, July 30, 2015 <<< Richard Arguijo, 74, passed away July 22, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born, Jan. 30, 1941 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Mateo and Sally Arguijo. Rich served his country proudly in the US Navy for two years and was honorably discharged. In his early years he was a truck driver and later in life was a self-employed handyman. Known as “Racin Rich” on the lake, he loved Race Boats. His true love was fishing at Laguna Beach with his brother, Gil. Rich loved bowling, scuba diving and had a true love for music, especially Jazz. He was a volunteer at the St. Vincent DePaul food bank and a volunteer firefighter. He will be missed by all those that knew and loved him. “Gone Fishin”. Rich is survived by his daughter, Carole (Julian) Marquez; granddaughter, Jennifer Rose Marquez; grandson, Luis Daniel Marquez; great-grandson, Zacariah Grey Marquez and his companion, Renelle Miller of Lake Havasu City. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his sister, Lucy Arguijo Riddle. Services were placed in the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, Veteran and Family Owned. |
