Felicia was born Felicia Ramona Moreno Lopez to a family of 12 in
Cifuentez, Cuba to Pedro Moreno and Magdalena Lopez Moreno. She came
to the U.S. as a young girl and married Oris Lee Davis II, who was in
the Army and stationed in Florida. They had six children, four girls
and two boys who were almost all born in different states, wherever he
was stationed.

Felicia taught herself English by reading the newspaper, studied hard
and became a naturalized citizen of the United States. She was very
proud of that accomplishment. She never returned to Cuba. She was a
talented seamstress and could copy any pattern just by looking at a
picture.

She worked at Genisco Technology in Long Beach, Calif., for over 25
years and drove an hour and a half each way to work from Simi Valley.
She retired when she was 72 years old, only because she was laid off.

Oris and Felicia divorced after 25 years of marriage and she finished
raising her children on her own; often working three jobs at a time to
make ends meet. She never remarried and dedicated her life to her
children.

Felicia was predeceased by her daughter, Virginia (Ginger) Johnson and
her ex-husband Oris Lee Davis II.

She leaves behind her children, Connie (Jerry) Boyce of Lake Havasu
City, Pearl (Dusty) Schulz of Westlake Village, Calif., LaVon Staab of
Simi Valley, Calif., Alvis Davis of Grand Prairie, Texas and Oris Lee
Davis III of Canoga Park, Calif., son-in-law, Ron Johnson; 11
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was an amazing woman and the matriarch of our family. Her death
left a large hole which can never be filled, but her legacy will live
on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She
will be forever loved and forever missed.

Services were placed in the care of Rose Family Mortuary and will be,
Monday, July 27 at 11 a.m., at 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA,
93063 with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald
Road, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
