| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 <<< Trudy Ann Cosner, 72, passed away Jan. 3, 2018 in Lake Havasu City. She was born the daughter of Joe and Verna Kressler on Dec. 23, 1945 in Berwick, Pennsylvania. Trudy met her true love, Robert Cosner, at a United Way meeting in Berwick. They married March 7, 1981 and were blessed with 37 years together. Bob and Trudy shared a love for golf and spent many enjoyable times together on the greens. She was an avid golfer and the “Queen Bee” of the London Bridge Hackers. Every Wednesday and Saturday she would arrange for as many as 100 club members to play golf. Trudy also was the Queen Mum of the “Mad Havasu Hatters” for many years. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Verna Kressler. She is survived by her husband, Robert Cosner, son Scott Varner, daughter Karen Armstrong, and three grandchildren. Trudy’s celebration of life is at 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Lake Havasu Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Western Arizona Humane Society, reflecting Trudy’s love of dogs.
