Thelma Mae Weeks

It is with great sadness that we report Thelma Mae Weeks, age 84, a
30-year resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz. and 20-year resident of
Needles, Calif. passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Valley
View Medical Center with husband by her side. After a lifetime battle
with Crest Syndrome disease, God saw the suffering of his child, and
called her home to be with Him.

Thelma was a dedicated Christian and very radiant lady. She spent her
entire life serving God and increasing His Kingdom. She was passionate
about reading her bible every day. Her and her husband were very
active in the mission field of Mohave Valley. She was a member of
Harvest Bible Church in Mohave Valley for the past five years and
served as Treasurer, Sunday school teacher, and leader of many great
ladies bible studies for the past 35 years.

She had a love for tennis, swimming, yoga and golf. She won the Santa
Fe annual golf picnic tournament in Needles, Calif. In 1972 and in
1967 won the Ladies Classic golf tournament. She taught Yoga to senior
citizens, she was a member of the Does Ladies Club in Needles, Calif.
for 10 years.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 27, 1929, but spent
most of her early years in Florida. She had worked as an office
manager for Del Rio Motors in Needles, Calif. for 14 years. This
lovely lady will be dearly missed by family and friends. Thelma will
be remembered as a woman of God.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Herbert Weeks; son,
Jeffery Randal Weeks; brother, Bernard (Irene) Goldie living in
Seabring, Florida.

A graveside service was held for Thelma in Seabring, Florida as she
was laid to rest beside her daughter, Patricia Ann Weeks on March 5,
2014. A memorial service will be held honoring her spirit at 3:00
p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Harvest Bible Church, 6870 Hwy. 95
(located in the Del Rio Center) Mohave Valley, Ariz.Visit our Obituary
