Dennis Lee Creps

Dennis Lee Creps, 71, passed away June 18, 2015 in Phoenix. He was
born Dec. 27, 1943, in Harvey, Ill., to Willis and Arlene
(Fredrickson) Creps.

Dennis served in the US Army from 1963 - 1966 and was honorably
discharged. He was a rifleman in Company B of the Infantry’s 1st
Battalion and was in the 3rd Infantry (The Old Guard) and participated
in President Herbert Hoover’s funeral.

Dennis worked 22 years as Sales Manager with Ostrom Chevrolet in
California and moved to Lake Havasu City in 1992, coming from
Whittier, Calif. He married his wife Nadine, March 15, 2003.

Dennis opened his own trucking company and drove 12 years with his co-
pilot/Shih Tzu, Mr. Cody. He loved to ride his Harley and drive his
Big Rig over all the lower 48 states. Everyone he met got a joke and a
hug, he never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 12 years, Nadine Creps of Lake
Havasu City; children, Brian Schwanke (Tammy), Chris Schwanke
(Theresa), Ann Marie Haney, Jason Cheney (Lynnea) and Bobbi Cheney;
eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death
by his mother, Arlene Creps; father, Willis Creps and his son, David
Creps.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory,
Veteran & Family Owned.
