He was born February 14, 1955. He was a carpenter. Jay leaves his wife, Melody J. Harwick; a daughter, Christin F. Hardwick; a son Kyle J.W. Hardwick, both of Cornville; his parents, Eugene Russell Hardwick and Patricia Hardwick, of Encino, Calif.; two sisters, Jill Hardwick and Janice Hardwick. There are no public services planned Donations in his memory may be made to the Mingus Union Future Farmers of America. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
