Murphy passed away, Monday, June 15, at Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona, Calif. He was a resident of Lake Havasu City for the last 27 years. He and his family had been coming to Lake Havasu since the mid-60s and finally purchased property in 1988. Albert retired for Aerojet General in Azusa, Calif. where he worked for 35 years as an electrical engineer within the aerospace industry. He was responsible for building two major environmental vacuum space chambers. Albert is survived by a son Michael John of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; two daughters, Sheila Marie and Sharon Ann of Lake Havasu City; two sisters, Jeannie Joyner of Guyton, Ga. and Louise Lain of Midway, Ga. and five grandchildren. Final services will be a private service. Instead of flowers the family has requested a small donation be made to “RUFFF” – Rescued Unwanted Furry Friends in Golden Valley, Ariz. Their website: rufffhouse.org. Albert loved his pets dearly and he now has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. |
