| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 <<< Marilyn Elaine Webber, 84, passed away May 18, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. She was born, Oct. 13, 1930 in Bronx, N.Y. Marilyn moved to Lake Havasu City 37 years ago, coming from Torrance, Calif. where she lived for 23 years. She married her husband, Wayne Wendell Webber, June 4, 1949 in Yuma. Marilyn was a warm, caring wife, mother and friend with an adventurous spirit and a quick wit. In her later years, she gave her time and energy in the service of the ELKS Lodge. She loved dancing, golfing and bowling with her many friends. Marilyn was the past BPOE Exalted Ruler from 2009-2010. She was a member of the BPOE, American Legion, Eagles, Queens Bay Queens and Desert Singles Club. Marilyn will be deeply missed. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Kathlyn Webber; son, Curtis Webber; grandson, John Roy and daughter-in-law, Lesley Wilson Webber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Webber and son, Edward Wilson Webber. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 27 at the ELKS Lodge Thoughts, memories and condolences can be sent directly to the family or through www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
