James Caroll Darrah

James Caroll Darrah passed away at 81 years of age, May 30, 2015 in
Lake Havasu City. He was born to Lee Bryan and Carol Louise Darrah,
Nov. 29, 1933 in Reno, Nev. He was raised in Reno, and Washoe Valley
where he lived until he retired in the 1990s. He traveled until moving
to Lake Havasu City in 1998 and he called it home every since. He was
wed to Amy B. Landers, Sept. 29, 1951 in Carson City, Nev.; they were
married for nearly 64 years.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, traveling, bull riding,
judging high school rodeos, and anything for the kids. He was a good
father, husband and friend who would help anyone who needed it. He is
a member of Teamsters Local 533 for 50 plus years, a lifetime member
of NRA and a member of the Reno Fire Department. He was in the United
States Army National Guard and a member of Nevada Cowboy Association.

Jim is survived by his wife, Amy B. Darrah of Lake Havasu City;
daughters, Nancy C. Waites of Reno, Nev. and Denise M. Kimpe of Lake
Havasu City; his brother, Lee B. Darrah II of Las Vegas; four
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Carol Darrah; and his
children, Don and Mike Darrah.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Havasu.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
