Joyce Patricia (Pat) Fogg went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2015 in
Gilbert, after a seven-year battle with cancer. Pat was born in
Oroville, Calif., Feb 14, 1945 and was a true Valentine’s Day baby.
She spent her childhood on a holly and strawberry farm south of
Hillsboro, Ore.

In 1974, she married George Fogg. She followed George to Germany where
she toured much of Europe. Pat returned to the U.S. and lived in
Lawton, Okla. The couple lived in Oklahoma for 24 years. During that
time Pat financed herself through college and became a registered
nurse. Pat’s loving nature made her a great nurse and her coworkers
praised her abilities. On two occasions, Pat was personally
responsible for saving a patient’s life and she was ecstatic.

Pat retired in 2002 and the couple moved to Lake Havasu City in 2004
where Pat immersed herself in volunteer work. Pat volunteered for work
at her church and many charitable organizations in Lake Havasu. The
couple lived in Phoenix for the last six months while Pat received
stem cell replacement treatments. The many years of treatment proved
too much for Pat to endure and she died of organ failures. Pat is
survived by her husband of the home, stepdaughter and grandson of
Moore, Okla., and her two sisters, Lois Mulder, Merlin, Ore. and Sandi
King, North Plains Ore.

Her parents Lloyd and Bea Austin precede her in death. Gifts and
donations should be sent to the American Cancer Center.

A memorial service will be held at Hilltop Community Church at 11
a.m., June 6. She will be interred in Hillsboro, Ore.
