| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, May 31, 2015 <<< Larry Weiss of Lake Havasu City, and North St. Paul, Minn., died May 24, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born, Feb. 21, 1938 to Rhiner Clark and Mary Kathleen Weiss in Superior, Wis. He was wed to Irene Marie in Hibbing, Minn.; they were married for 53 years. Larry is survived by his wife, Irene Marie Weiss; son, Daniel Clark Weiss of St. Paul, Minn.; daughters, Mary Kathleen Weiss Fernhold of St. Paul, Minn., Laura Marie Weiss Bradley of St. Paul, Minn., Lynn Gayle Weiss Schmit of Roseville, Minn., Michele Lee Weiss of St. Paul, Minn.; sister, Gayle R. Pierce of Tucson; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Larry grew up in St. Paul, attended the University of Minnesota, served in the Navy for two years and worked at Unisys. He enjoyed working on his old Chryslers and CB radios. Larry was a handyman, always ready to help family and friends with projects. A memorial mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with a reception following the mass in the church hall. A memorial service and burial will take place in Minnesota at a later date. In lieu of flowers, make donations in Larry’s name to Hospice of Havasu.
