| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, January 18, 2017, page 5a Irene Agnes Myers, 92, entered into her earthly life on Nov. 10, 1925, in Dillonvale, Ohio, and entered her heavenly home on Jan. 14, 2018, in Surprise, Arizona. Irene was a great cook and baker who enjoyed serving family, friends and her church. She also served briefly as a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII. Prescott was her home for several years, and she was active at Willow Hills Baptist Church. Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, Danny; and three brothers. She is survived by her son, Edward (Sylvia); two grandsons, USAF Master Sgt. Keith Myers and Glen Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m., with funeral services at 11 a.m., at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona. Interment will follow at Green Acres.
