| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 <<< Violet Frances Nunemacher passed away at 85 years of age, May 22, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Guy William and Agnes Ann Blackert, Nov. 22, 1929 in Freeport, Ill. She wed to Roland Carl Nunemacher, Sr., Aug. 16, 1947 in Freeport, Ill.; they were married for 67 years. Violet lived in Freeport, Ill. until 1965 when she moved to Lake Havasu City. She was a loving mother and wife. She was an amazing homemaker and had a big heart for everyone. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking. Violet is survived by her husband, Roland Carl Nunemacher, Sr. of Lake Havasu City; sons, Roland C. Nunemacher, Jr. of Gilbert, Robert Nunemacher of Chandler, Gary Nunemacher of Lake Havasu City, Tim Nunemacher of Lakeside, Calif., Steve Nunemacher of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Beth Nunemacher of Prescott Valley; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Violet is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Agnes Blackert; siblings, May, Marion, Faye, Florence, Tess, Bert and Emma. Visitation will be at 9 a.m., Friday, May 29 followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Polidori House, Hospice of Havasu.
