Douglas Franklin Billings, Jr. passed away at 76 years of age, April
27, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. He was born, Nov. 8, 1938 to Douglas
Franklin and Nora Billings, in Tipton, Tenn. He wed Nannette Velvet
Cartisser April 24, 1999 in Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; they were
married for 16 years.

Douglas has lived in Tennessee, Oregon and Arizona; he was police
chief in Dundee, Ore. and Hines, Ore. Douglas enjoyed hunting,
fishing, Tae Kwon Do (Black Belt), archery and woodworking; he was a
Baptist.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Nannette Billings of Lake Havasu
City; sons, Michael Billings of Dayton, Ore., Jacob Billings of Lake
Havasu City and Gien (Bear) Smith of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Dee
Smith of Lake Havasu City, Melissa Shaffer of Dayton, Ohio, Dawn David
of Big Fork, Minn. and Tabatha Lindley of Phoenix; brothers, Floyd and
David Billings of Tenn; sisters, Bobby Jean Cobb, Audrey Cox and Renee
Billings; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Douglas is preceded in death by his first wife, Christine and his
parents, Douglas and Nora Billings.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
